Do you know what it's indicative of? The beach? Which? Better. I'll stand for this. Okay. It says Santa Rosina State Park. And you can see, move this cord. The palm trees are shaped like a W. Uh-huh. Right? Yeah. Well, that's, in the movie, it's a mad, mad, mad, mad world. One of my favorites. Uh-huh. They're, they're actually doing a, this is a spoiler alert for a movie that came out a hundred years ago. They're looking for a treasure. $350,000. And all that Jimmy Durante says is, it's buried under a great big W. A big W, I tell you. You can't miss it. It's a great big W. And they don't know about the palm trees. So they go to Rosita. He says this in Santa Rosita State Park. And oh, the mayhem that happens between them finding out and getting to, cars are crashed. Planes are rented. There's so much going on. Don Knotts is tricked into giving up his car. Even. Jonathan Winters drives a kiddie bicycle. There's a lot of stuff going on. I had no idea about any of that. I just really like your shirt. Well, thank you. Yeah. But it means so much to me. That's really cool. No, I actually think that's really cool. So anyway, they get there and they don't even tell you, the listener, except on a movie. It's a viewer, unless you're blind, then you're a listener. But they don't even tell you, the viewer, what the W is until you get there. And when they're running around Santa Rosita State Park, all of these Hollywood A-listers, like Dorothy Provine, they're all running around. Who? Dorothy Provine. Don't you remember her from the Roaring Twenties? Why, yes, of course. Yes, come on. Let's get it together. This is the show, you know. So they're running around. And if you look carefully, you can see the W in the background before they see it. And that's sort of fun because you find it. And then finally, it's there. And it's a great big W. $350,000. That's pretty cool. I won't tell you how it ends. So I feel like my brother really liked that movie. Oh, I like, would you, would you, could you stream it and watch it and report back to me? I like, Rob, you give me some sort of homework. It's only three hours and change. Right? That's the other thing. It's really long. I did know that. It is. Well, I mean, it's got four mags in it. They've got to go a long way. But it's so worth it. I actually feel like I watched it when I was young. Well, you're still young. I mean, like when we were kids, I feel like this was a thing that my brother was obsessed with. Is there a hot air balloon? Uh, no. No hot air balloons, but there are planes. Oh, I'm thinking of. Rat race? No, no, no. Around the world in 80 days. It's different. Yeah. Spoiler alert. Around the world in 80 days. He doesn't make it in 80 days, but because of the international dateline, he has an extra day and he wins. There, I just saved you three hours. But if you want to spend some time with Canton Floss, do it. So there's that. So would you watch it? Canton Floss. He played Pass Part 2 in that. I, yes, I will. Okay. And I'm going to write it down because I'll forget. Otherwise, I'm. And you don't have to watch it in one second. There's an intermission. So you could break it up over two days if you wanted. This is. This is. Okay. I've seen it so many times. I feel I should watch it with you, but. How many Mads? Four. It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. Directed by Stanley Kramer. And you know who's in it. Speaking of Hollywood A-listers. Spencer Tracy. How about that? Okay. Yeah. So there's that movie. And you didn't notice my beard had been dyed. So why even try? Why even try to look good for you? It looks great, Rob. Thank you. Thank you. You're welcome. What did you use to dye it? Well, of course I used Mike O'Mara Show sponsor, Simpler Hair. Okay. Go to the TMOS website, MikeO'MaraShow.com. You'll see their signage on the front and click on through and get the discount. It's so great. I think. You know what? I probably didn't notice because it looks natural. Yeah. It does. Well, yeah. But like 20 years ago, natural. I've grown it out long because. Some people grow theirs and they. I need to trim this. It's too much. Yeah. I need to trim it. I let it get a little long because I was going to dye it. So anyway. Okay. We won't do it on today's show. No, no. But maybe tonight I'll whip out the clippers or clip out the whippers. Now, before we start the show, which by the way. Really quickly. Yeah. Clippers. So in this house, we have a hall bathroom. Okay. And Dan plugged his beard trimmer. Yeah. Into that. There's one outlet in there. He plugs it into the outlet. And I'm guessing. Is it like higher? It's not a low outlet. It's like a sink level outlet. Yeah. Because it's a bathroom. So he's like charging it. Yeah. And he didn't realize. And it just didn't occur to me. That outlet only works when the light's on. Oh, it's a switched outlet. It's a switched. Which is stupid in a bathroom. What, are you going to have a lamp in a bathroom? So he goes. And I was like. Oh. And it clicked in. And I kind of felt bad. Because I had. I had noticed it. But I did. It just didn't register. That's weird design right there. I mean, it's an old house. That was. But I mean. So that switch not only turns on the outlet. It also turns on the overhead. Yeah. There's only once. Well. So. If you turn off the light. You can't charge anything. That's what I'm saying. It's just bad design. Is what I'm saying. Yeah. So I can't put like my little Alexa in there. I can't put. Yeah. Mm-mm. You could put. Let's see. What would be good in there? Like a record player. No. Not a clock. Not a clock. And it would say like. You know. Welcome to the. So. Yeah. So don't do that. No. No. But. You were talking earlier about how young you are. Right. Going on and on about. Oh. I'm just a baby. No. You're younger than me though. You are. 30. 47. 47. Wow. I know. That's pretty old. Isn't it weird? I don't see you at 47. 47. I really don't. That's pretty old. It was genuine. That was my reaction. Because I. I have a hard enough time coming to deal with the fact that I'm 54. Which is really old. But. 47. I don't see you that way. Anyway. You watched Sesame Street when you were little. Right? Yes. Yes. Okay. And you don't remember. Hey. I'm sorry. I don't remember. There's a bird on. What is it? Boomers. Listen up. This millennial doesn't know what we went through. I'm not a millennial. Are you a Generation X? Yes, I am. You're on the wrong side of it then if you don't remember this. But I just. I don't. And I was calling out boomers as a joke. I know that the baby boom is not a Generation X. But I'm smack dab in the middle of X. 61 to 81. I'm born in 71. So if you watch Sesame Street or if you're reading the way it looks, C-Same Street, you would know this song. And I think a lot of our listeners will know this song. There's a bird. I just. On an elephant. Can't you see? There's a bird on me. This dog. There's a bird on me. I remember the count. Is that a. It's not a rhinoceros. That's a. Is that a rhinoceros? Yeah, sure it is. Look at the rhinoplasty he needs. That's a bull, right? No, that's a wild goose. That's not. Yes, it is. That's a giraffe. Yes. We're doing very well. We're winning at Sesame Street. We're winning at Sesame Street. We're only old. Oh, jeez. Stop your chirping and quack, quack, quack. Come on, bird. Get off of my back. There you go. Bird on me. There you go. I think a lot of people know that song. Okay. I just. I don't. I don't recall it. Do you remember any songs? From Sesame Street? From Sesame Street? Like this one. How about this? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve. Ladybugs went to the ladybug picnic. I remember one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve. And I may have told you this before. Do you know who sings that? No. The Pointer Sisters. No. Yes. That's awesome. That's really cool. It's a pinball machine and then they go, they like, it lands in like number nine. It goes, nine. And then it goes all around. The coolest number. Nine. Nine. And I bet they had to get Ruth or June or Anita to say that. Bonnie, not part of the act. But, and did you know, a very good Elvis song was a cover of a Pointer Sisters song. What song was that? Neutron Dance. No. It's not the Neutron Dance. Nope. Nope. It's called Fairy Tale. It's a very sweet song. It's a country song that the Pointer Sisters did as well. But we're just going on and on and on as if we don't have anything planned. Mm-hmm. We do, though. We do. Katie has a card. Oh, read the one card, the card I love so bad. Yes. Are you ready? Yes. Okay. Thank you. Don't forget to like, download, and subscribe. It truly helps us keep going. We're on all your favorite platforms, including YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify. Happy listening. Grandma. Grandma. So great. All right. So I think we've covered everything we need to cover. Um, you're old. Thank you. But you're not to the age. You're not to the age where you're dying your beard yet. I'm never going to catch up to you. That's true. Oh, I don't know. Maybe if I get a rope. Oh, no. Stop. Let's start the show. We're not doing that again. We're starting the show. Quiet. Quiet. Didn't mean to tell you quiet. It was your show, too. Cake and Cookies. The podcast that has nothing to do with cake or cookies. It's Rob and Katie. Episode number 127. Thank all of you who have been checking the video version of the podcast out. A special hi to a lady named A
