Hey, it's Mike Rowe, and it just occurred to me that Zip Recruiter has been sponsoring my podcast,
the way I heard it, for the last 10 years. Consequently, I've agreed to sing their
jingle at the end of this commercial in four-part harmony, all by myself. Why would I do that?
Because years ago, when the Mike Rowe Works Foundation was expanding, and I was desperate
to hire a few uniquely qualified individuals, I posted a job for free on Zip Recruiter,
and I found the people I was looking for in less than 24 hours. It's that simple.
Ever since, I've been telling my audience that Zip Recruiter got me the most qualified,
most interested people. And now, I'm telling you. Post a job for free at ZipRecruiter.com
slash zip, and watch what happens. That's ZipRecruiter.com slash zip. And now,
here's their official jingle in four-part harmony.

So, I asked my dentist, I said, how long have you been in this office? Because it's got to be like
30 years, because I've been going over that long. He said 1984. So, he's been-
You still are going to your pediatric dentist.
No. Listen, I can do something for 30 years and still have it start in my adulthood.
I suppose that's true.
But, he's been there 40 years, and I said, then you may not retire, because I don't want to lose
my dentist. I like my dentist. And so many people like, oh, I hate going to my dentist. My dentist
is great. I mean, even when I get seven cavities, which I have once in the past, he's lighthearted
about it.
You had seven cavities?
Yeah. Well, I didn't go to the dentist because of COVID. And then, I was a little lazy before that.
And then, it gets to be the whole thing of, wow, I haven't been there in five years. I've got to
really sort of pick my moments. And I went in, and it was seven all along the bottom. Yeah.
Oh, that sucks.
Well, it was so many that he drilled one day, and he filled the next. But the night that they
had just been drilled, I could blow water through them. That's not true. This was a lie.
But seven cavities is a lot.
I-
I-
You don't even know what to say.
I really don't.
Because at first glance, I have lovely teeth.
Well, I thought it would be, because I actually thought you meant you could blow water through
them. So, I was like stunned for a second. And then, I was stunned.
That would be so great if you had like a little hole in your teeth.
And my stupidity because-
No, it was my prowess at telling an untruth.
I can make you believe anything.
I am gullible.
Yes, you are.
I know.
Um, for example, did you know-
Oh, no.
Yes, this is true.
Okay.
My grandfather invented the tater tot.
No.
You're right. Great grandfather.
I know.
I know.
First of all-
Now I'm questioning, did I believe something that's not true?
No, the onion trank is as right as rain. It's as true as can be. But I think it's-
Now I'm questioning everything.
I think it's sad that now that sort of precedes me.
I know.
I've talked about you way more than that.
I lie to my mom all the time, but nothing bad. I just make things up. And to a point where I said, did you see John Hamm on the Super Bowl? Because John Hamm is like her all-time favorite. And now that she's a widow, she's available. And so she could go and pursue John Hamm. And he was on the Super Bowl. And she says, don't lie to me. I said, he brought out the Kansas City Chiefs. What game were you watching?
