And then upon hearing it, and having Robert walk in with dog spit all over his face, I said, yep, pretty funny. What... How did Robert feel about this drive-by snoot smooch? Soggy. Yeah. And it was great. It was terrible! Tell me about it. Uh, okay. So my birthday is February 18th. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Just after Valentine's Day. I turned 39. 39. You are so young. 39 is just a kid. I don't feel so young. But anyways, I know. Um, it was a Saturday this year so I had like big plans. That's a great, it's great when your birthday falls on a Saturday. I know. The neighborhood ladies were going to take me out. Yes, have an event. Whoop, whoop! Yep. Um, there was a couple other birthdays during the week for the, a couple of the kids. So there was on Saturday morning a kid's birthday funnery in the park where the parents had mimosas and the kids had OJ. It was like a breakfast. Okay, and the kids can run around and the weather is ideal down there right now, right? Oh, the weather is incredible right now. Like, this is the time to be in Savannah. Sure. High today was 68. That's nice. A Ferris Bueller blue sky. How could anyone expect me to go to school on a day like this? How could anyone expect you to podcast today? Right. So, Friday the 17th I worked and then I was like, Dan, we are going to go get a drink. I want to go out and have a little fun this evening. Sure, and you've earned it. So about 4 o'clock I had started working early so I could leave early. Right. Got your 8 hours in. Dan had sort of the rosy cheeks and had kind of he was excited about the party. Kind of slept on and off through the whole day. Okay. Which I got a little annoyed with. All right. Just because Well, this is your day and you wanted to gear up for fun. Don't just sleep all day. Yeah. Dan. So we go to a bar, one of our favorite places, the Five Spot. I've been there. It's a wonderful place. And our buddy Jefferson was bartending. Okay. He wanted us to give like a final proof on a painting that he is, we commissioned him to do. Bartender slash painter Jefferson. Oh, he's an incredible artist. If anyone wants to like look him up, his name is Jefferson O'Neill. So is he a painter slash bartender then? Oh, definitely a painter and then sort of on the side he's a bartender. So you're saying he's not a very good bartender? No, he's a great bartender. I would, I would dare say call him a mixologist. What? Look out. What? And I'm not even a big like mixed drink person, but that man put some special artistry into his drinks. That man knows his arts. Yes. Good for him. So he can pretty much paint anything. He went to SCAD. How about my living room two coats? I don't think that's quite, I can help you with that. Now, question though, what painting did you commission? Was it the dogs? Playing poker? No, no, no, no. Your dogs don't know how to play poker. I've tried. No, no, no. No, what did you commission? Do claws. They could hold the ton of spades. No problem. No problem. He is going to do a watercolor. We just wanted him to incorporate hummingbird. Okay. And some skeleton keys. And the reason being, Dan and I, since we, this was after the mixed drinks, I'm guessing. No, no, no. Dan and I, since we first got together, and it's a very, like, everyone's grandma kind of thing, both of our, two of our grandmothers, my mamaw, my mom's mom, and his grand, his dad's mom, we've always had this thing, they love hummingbirds. Now, my mamaw has passed. All right. His grandma is still alive. This is the one that we've gone, we go out to Northern California to see her. To visit, right. We've discussed this. Love, loved hummingbirds. Okay. Absolutely, like, collected, they both do. I have some hummingbird things of my grandmothers. And you know what causes them to hum, right? It's the sound of their wings. No, they don't know the words. Really not that funny, but thank you. You are the anti-carry. I had a little dizzy there. Well, great comedy will do that. God, I might take a drink of water. Sure, I'm sure that's water. Water always has an olive in it. I'm not drinking. I know. Nor are you on pills. I am today. Okay. Let's say not. I'll explain. We'll get to it. You'll get, I'll get to it. And then you'll understand. Let's unravel this Afghan at a slow pace. Just pull the one string. Watch me walk away. Exactly. Love that song. I love Weezer. He was my favorite little rascal. No, no, no. She was a great, one of the stars of Steel Magnolias. And she was also the wife on the Jeffersons. What a storied career. We're moving on up. To the east side. So, Dan had the red cheeks. Okay, so Dan kind of had the red cheeks and had slept on and off all day. Was he sleeping in the guest room? No. Okay, just checking. And, so we get to the five spot about 4.30. Jefferson had said he wanted us to give like a final proof on. Hold on, you know what? I hate to go backwards. We do have to go, we have to go back to the painting. To re-knit the Afghan, but you explained the hummingbirds, but why the skeleton keys? Oh, okay. So the skeleton keys, so I grew up in very old houses. The house that I grew up in, and my dad's, in Marietta, was very old skeleton key. Okay, all right. I always thought that was cool. Yeah. And then, the house that I grew up in with my mother in West Virginia, my grandfather was born there. Now, lest we forget, he passed away in 2016 at the ripe old age of 101. Okay, so he was born in 1915. Very old house. Did that in my head. Good for you. Thank you. So, and it's not like they built the house and then he was born. So the house was way more than 100 years old. Yes. Yes. So my mom has collected skeleton keys and she, she has this really neat thing that she does. Some might call it hoarding, but this part I actually, you don't, keep in mind you're never a hoarder until you have stacks of newspapers. Oh, okay, she doesn't have newspapers. Good, good for her. That I know of. So. Yeah, you might want to take a peek in the guest room. So she has mason jars. The, not the small like canning ones that you typically think of. She has some of the big ones. right, right. Those are actually, from what I understand, really hard and kind of rare at this point. Sure. But they're really, really old, very large mason jars. And she has really cool things collected in them. Like she has a couple that have buttons. Human head? No. Okay, just shrunk it. Well, a couple, the shrunken kind like on Beetlejuice. No, no, no. Now you're just making things up. Yes. The shrunken heads are with the newspapers. Right. Okay. The shrunken heads are wrapped in newspapers. Well,
