All right.

You know I love my refrigerator.

Which one?

The new one in the kitchen, the Frigidaire.

Oh, you know what?

We were on hiatus when I bought it, so you probably don't even know about it.

No, I do not know about your new refrigerator.

It's great.

I do know that you have...

How many refrigerators do you have now?

Just two.

We got rid of the other one.

There's the kitchen, and then there's the one in the garage.

Okay.

And the one in the garage is an old GE that'll last longer than I will.

It's old.

And it's missing a shelf.

And here's an idea, give you an idea of how old it is.

It is a dull yellow color.

It's not white.

It's not...

It's not anything that you would ever buy.

And the Chubbix were getting rid of it.

Like an e-crew? Yeah. And, well, no, lighter. And then he says, well, it's pretty good, but it's missing the bottom shelf. I said, in the fridge? He said, no, no. On the door. There's like this thing, this plastic thing that holds the stuff on the shelf. That's the only thing wrong with it. And it has an ice maker, but we don't have water running to it. So that's the fridge downstairs. That's mostly sodas and overflow from like a Costco run. Okay? Now, is it just a refrigerator or does it have a freezer component? It's so great that you asked. It has a freezer component. Oh, so you're talking about your overflow ice cream. Yeah. And, I mean, like for Thanksgiving. We put on something for Thanksgiving. You need extra space. Nice. I'm not delighted with the fact that it is a side-by-side. Because I think that's a bad use of space on either side. And I also think that might have been trendy when you bought yellow refrigerators. But it does, I have, I am the Dr. Fauci of food storage. And I have a very precise thermometer on each of the fridges that will separately and wirelessly tell me the temp of the freezer and the fridge on both of them. And what is the ideal temp for a refrigerator? I'm so glad you asked. Again, as a certified kitchen, a guy who's certified to run a kitchen in Montgomery County, one of the better counties, you want your fridge to be sub 40 Fahrenheit. And, of course, you don't want it to go too much below 32 because things freeze. So your ideal temperature, your sweet, 35, 34 is a good sweet spot. The freezer, anything under zero, zero degrees or under, which is sensational. Now, the new fridge. I believe mine is set at 34 and zero. Perfect. But do you check it with a thermometer or do you trust the fridge? I trust the fridge. It's new. You mustn't trust the fridge. Oh, for me's sakes. You mustn't. The fridge doesn't care. The fridge is just wanting to last another year. But I bought this. Oh, no, no, it doesn't. It's like I'm done with this. So much chicken. Yeah. Throw me out the window. The fridge is go-to noises. Goodbye, cold world. Bye. There's ice melting. But this is a great. The Frigidaire is great. Now, the Frigidaire is the Cadillac of refrigerators. Not a Rolls Royce, but a Cadillac. And it is a beautiful brushed stainless steel with water, ice, and crushed ice dispenser. It has Sabbath mode. If I were Jewish, it would come in very handy. It has something called super chill, which if you hit it, I come into the room. No, no, no. No, super chill is if you're going to the store, you hit this, and it drops the temperature of the freezer and the fridge down like 10 degrees, so it'll bounce back when you come back. And when you're putting, when the doors are open and you're putting all of your groceries Yes. A lot of times the cool air will escape. That's fantastic. And it'll hide and wait for you to open the door, and then the cold air will get out, and that's how winter starts. Yeah. So the Frigidaire and I have a wonderful relationship. We got it before Thanksgiving, but the one thing I wanted for Christmas this year, don't think I'm an idiot, is an extra ice maker for the fridge. It actually is an apparatus that goes, it's a drawer refrigerator, okay? Okay. And so, I mean, the refrigerator is a French door refrigerator, but the freezer is a pull out drawer at the bottom. Okay. And you can install, you got the ice maker in your door, right? Right. But you can install a Frigidaire ice maker in your freezer, and it's an extra ice maker. And it's... Do you use that much ice? I do. Look, as a matter of, and I want you to see, look at my drink today. Okay, this is great. Look at the ice. That's a lot. I love ice. I love it. And these are cubes, and they're perfect, man. They are really fine. And I love this fridge. Yeah. Wait, wait. So this is the new fridge. It has two ice makers. Mm-hmm. One is like, you know, I just want a few ice cubes. And one is a, I got a metal scoop. And I did. So it's... Ours is in the... So it's... We don't have, like, water and stuff on the door. Right, right. When you open the bottom, that's where our ice maker is. Cool. What's the brand? I don't know. Does it have an internal water dispenser? No. Okay, I've seen those. It does. We just don't have it turned on. Okay. So let me get to why I brought this up. Wait. Yeah. Yes. I... Maybe there's a water dispenser you don't know about. Is there something wrong with me that I don't know the brand of my refrigerator? You're not very consumer friendly if you don't. I bet it's a General Electric. Would you like to run, go check? I don't. Okay, then let's not even get into that. Well, it's a whole thing for me to get in and out of this chair and the desk. It's the stand-up desk and I can't touch the ground. Yeah. I can't. I can't. I know. We should call your floor MC Hammer. I don't get it. Because you can't touch that. The joke is always funny after the autopsy. Anyway, I was so tickled with the Frigidaire refrigerator that I even bought a Frigidaire cooktop. Now, that seems counterintuitive because the name is Frigidaire. It makes cold air. Not hot flames, but... You wouldn't think. I love it. But here's the deal. We finally... We've had the thing six months or so and the light comes on and it says, you need a new water filter. Oh, okay. Well, yeah. And I said, you know, it came with a water filter. And, you know, we don't buy bottled water. We drink the filtered water from the fridge. It's sensational. And so I go to... And Carrie says, I'll take care of it. Great. And so she goes on Amazon and buys a Frigidaire water filter. Then it comes back and it is clearly too big for the cylindrical hole that it's to go in. I mean, really, like putting a can of soup in a keyhole. And she calls to me. She says, I can't figure this out. Is it still in the box? I said, you figured out you're going to be taking it back to Amazon. I'll take care of it. So I did what all control fleet free people do. I pulled out the manual and started researching codes and everything. And I found out what I could get. And I bought a three pack of water filters. It was nearly $100. Okay. That's a lot of money. Yeah. And then they said in Amazon, because they're helpful, would you like to buy a filter for the chamber of your refrigerator and individual filters for your vegetable drawer that will help eliminate, I think it's some sort of fetylene, settling, deadlene, some kind of gas. But it's the same reason that a ripe banana will make something else turn ripe fast. It's the gas that ripening fruit puts out. This filters it. So I said, you know what? Let's go crazy. That sounds real fancy. Yeah. Filters on your drawers? Drawer filters. Yeah. Wow. And bells on my toes. I wonder if I have those. Well, I guarantee you haven't changed them. You'd know it if you did. Because they said all of them should be changed. Rob, I've only lived in this house for four months. You drink a lot of water? I do, but I don't drink it from the refrigerator. That's right, because you don't have that. Well, anyway, the replace water filter thing came up. Yeah. Dan has his own Brita that he uses. I just drink tap water. I just don't care anymore. I feel like it's going to strengthen my immune system. Well, you'll be getting plenty of fluoride until RFK Jr. stops it. It's like going to the dentist every day. RFK Jr. can kiss my ass with his comments about autism. I like his voice. He is dangerous. I know this is not the point of the refrigerator. I've got to wind this up, because my producer told me to keep this opening segment short. I'm your producer? Oh, that is me. Yeah, I already violated it. So I go in, and I get the right ones. Carrie returned the other filter. What producer? It's me. So she returned the other filter, and I went in, found the right filter to buy, and it recommended the two other filters. And according to the book, because Frigidaire wants all the money, almost like a Paul McCartney thing, they want all the money, they said, while you order your water filters, you may want to replace these too. That's the way I read it. I don't think it was probably written that way, but that's how I read it. It's like, you know. A thing of baking soda just do the same thing. Filters don't last forever. And I said, okay, let's do it all. So I get it, the water filter, piece of cake, great. You put it in, it's like a, it like locks in. Yeah. So to take it out, you just chunk it, and it comes back. It's great. And the water is great. Mine looks like a tube. Yeah, exactly. That's what it looks like. It looks almost Russian, like a bomb or something. How heavy the old one was compared to the new one? Yeah. It's not as heavy, though, if you take it out and hold it sideways and all the water falls on your floor. Then it gets lighter because that's what I did. I know. I'm learning. So then I feel good because I go over and I get to reset the filter thing. Chunk. And the thing is, I do the other filters. I put in the overall air filter, take out the old one, put in the new one, piece of cake, easy fit. So then I go in to get, you need two filters for the drawers because you have two drawers. And I we
