It got here like when the hurricane was. Best sentence ever. It got here when the hurricane was. It happened. It was. You don't remember what's in here, do you? I never opened it. Alright, let's do this. Different kind of medication for that. And Dan, don't go into her purse. He's not. Even when. He's not supposed to go into my purse. He makes a mess. Everything in there is very organized. I'm a very organized individual. Did you see the middle when they went to the escape room? No, no, no, no. We're behind. We're behind. It's great. And you know what you don't have? You don't have a bedroom TV. No. No TVs in the bedroom. No, because that gets in the way of other things. Well, no. I mean, we don't have sex in our bedroom. We have sex in the guest room. Well, I meant counter space. Oh, right. But. Because none of this conversation is weird. No. Meanwhile, let's have a new place for Julia to sleep next time then. There's two beds in there now. I'll just tell her which one. Is it a guessing game then? I'll just tell her which one has the better mattress. Air quotes. Now you're flipping me out. Let's start this show. If we close our bedroom door, they think they should be in there. So there's lots of pawing and pounding on the door. You've got to get to a point where it's okay for the dogs to be in there. No. I'm sorry. Because they won't just be in there. They'll be in there. And isn't that part of the plan? No. Ew. Remember. Ew. Ew. Oh, my God. You can love your pets. You just can't. You just can't. Love your pets. Mike O'Mara. Radio Entertainment. Booyah. We're back, bitches. You settled down. Was that too strong? It was. By a factor of two. Cake and cookies. Cookies. Rob. And Katie. It's the Rob and Katie Show. Sound like you're headed to the guest room. Which is the better mattress? Hey, everybody. It's the first cake and cookies of 2017. So Presley just wanted to let you know that we're back, bitches, too. Okay. Well, because she is. And the other dog as well. Hab. Yes. Happy New Year. Hope that it's been good. Her name is Chanel, our house guest. Oh, I see. And you want to talk more about Chanel? I do. Yes, I do. Apparently, so does Presley. Yeah. All right. Let's just do this. It is cake and cookies. Katie, congratulations. This is our 2000th episode. Is it? Great job. I'm going to take a guess and say 73. Sure. And I want to say thanks to Mike and Oscar and Pony and everybody responsible for getting us on and keeping us on the internet. Hang on one second. So many great moments that we have shared. Hang on just one second. Oh, sure. Dan! Yeah? I didn't realize you were right there. Oh, Danny boy. Is he coming on? No. He's going to go figure out what's wrong with Presley. We played him in. He doesn't know that. He doesn't just wear headphones around the house tethered to my office. Well, no, because he's a young millennial, he would have earbuds. Right. But then I would just sort of give a little yank. Dink, dink. And he would. That's some more guest room talk, isn't it? No. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hey-oh. Shock jock. All right. It is the first cake and cookies of 2017. And Katie is in pain. Seems like this happens a lot. I'll update you on my finger if you want. I would love that. Right now? Now, I just realized I need it. The pillow needs to come back. My setup's not quite right. I usually have a pillow behind me. You know, what with my comfort being important and all. But you moved the pillow right before we started on purpose. I did. I thought I didn't need it. I thought, but I do. It was a pretty, pretty definite movement, and now you need it. So from now on. I took off my shoes. I moved my pillow. I thought I was getting comfortable, but it became uncomfortable. What we need to do is discuss the story about it. People are dying to know about your finger, but I'm dying for you to tell them why you had to switch to a flesh-colored bandage. I didn't even tell you about this. I just said that I had to. Right. God, I have to ask you a business question. Okay. Before somebody else snatches up those bar stools that I really, really like. Yeah. She bought them for $200 for all four. Okay. There's four of them. That's $50 each. And she said, just whatever you think is fair. I think that $75 for all four. How much? $75. I was going to say $100. Yep. If you would have paid $100, then you would have paid more. And I just saved you $25. So what happened here, folks, is that there was a hot text during the pre-show meeting. And someone, a neighbor of Katie has. A friend neighbor. Is selling bar stools. And Katie wants them. She wants them very bad. I like them a lot. She wants them so bad she can taste it. And she has a place for them in the kitchen. And so now she's been challenged to make an offer. And she says, whatever you think is fair. But there's a built-in friend discount, of course. So, you see, she's making it awkward now. No, she's not on purpose. She's not that kind of person. $75 is fair. I'll text her after the show. I'm going to turn this over so I can't even see it. I can't think about the bar stools that I really, really love. Why don't you put Dan on it? Dan. He's got nothing to do right now. Yeah, he doesn't like me to negotiate either. Just tell him to do the $75 text. Beeps. That sounds like a mystery novel. James Patterson's new book. The $75 text. Hiccups? Just one, I think. Okay, hiccup. I'm not sure. I think it was supposed to be a burp, but I had my head turned around. And it just sort of squeaked out. Some people say hiccoughs. It's sort of a hiccough. Yes, that's what it is. It's a creepy shadow silhouette. Yes. That they show right before they go into this scary movie. Yes. A hiccough movie. Alfred Hiccough. Alfred Hiccough. Good evening. I hate birds. That's why. Because of the movie? Yes. Yeah, well. I saw it when I was really, really young. And I was so scared. Much like the shark. Mm-hmm. I was standing in the middle of the living room because it was so scary. What about, well, you spend a lot of time in the park when you walk your dogs. Do the birds bother you then? I haven't. I tried. Okay. So back to the finger. Nice segue. Since I hurt my finger on October 14th, I have only taken Judd for one walk. Okay. But then, and nobody really knows this, I had to have a second surgery. That was your Christmas present. Yeah, it happened right before Christmas. Mm-hmm. And so, is this, the surgery is done. The surgeries are done. But today you got stitches out. I did get my stitches out. And if people don't understand why she's having all of this cosmetic surgery done, all of this elective cosmetic surgery. Right. No. She was injured. Listen to the previous episode, and I believe an explanation is offered. Oh, and I would like to say, for the record, because someone wrote this on the Book of Faces. Yes. Sorry, like that I fell down or something. I did not fall when I broke my hand. There was no falling at all. You've fallen in the past. Many times. Right. And you're not shy about that. But this was not a fall. No. And I really feel like that matters, because I did not fall. Oh, you know what they were maybe saying? That you fell. No. No. You injured your hand last fall. No. They should say autumn. That's not what they meant. Who did this? Why are you being so disagreeable? It's not that. It's not this end. I promise. You think this is me? We've been down this road before. What? This is what we call a copay conversation, because you gave the pharmacist $10, and he gave you pills, and you took the pills, and now we're doing a show. I'm okay with it. I haven't met my deductible for this year. Well, I'll arrange. I had to start all over on January 1st. Please allow me to arrange an introduction. Katie, meet your deductible. I'm Katie. Katie. So, do you come around here often? No. No. Not as much as I used to. But as I said, we have a show for you. We're going to get to it soon. But you had a surgery, and today you got the stitches out. Yes. You're doing better. You're in pain. I am. But it's going to get better. Yes. Right. I have high hopes. So, do you want to know what happened to my hand? It's kind of gory. I would love to. It would be like an Alfred Hitchcock movie. All right. Hitchcock. So, I went back to the surgeon to have a checkup. I said, doctor! I said, doctor! It had been almost two months since the original injury. Right. And the scar area was a little bit odd. It was really, really hard, and I kept saying, I feel like something's trying to come out. Have you ever seen the movie Alien? Yes. Is it like that? No. It's more like that scene. Have you ever seen the movie Spaceballs? Oh, so it was the Michigan J. Frog wanted to come out. Hello, my baby! Yeah. I'm hip. I'm hip. Okay. Similar, just happier. Right. Because I'm delightful. Oh, and a wonderful dancer. Well, yes. Don't be distracted. Keep telling your story. Only with a cane and a top hat. So. I just need a cane, but that's for walking. You just need a pole. That's it. I haven't had a drink. I've had a sip. I know, but it's not that. It's the tablets. Rob, they haven't kicked in yet. I know. I'm listening to them not kick in right now. I will let you know. Okay. When it happens. Good. I'll look to the sky. There's a giant signal. There is a big Percocet in the sky. Commissioner Gordon. He gave us a signal. I toughed it out for the entire day. I know. You're a trooper. And it's really, really bad. So what happened? What happened was, what's happening? Raj and rerun. And of course, the lovely Shirley. So the scar was looking really odd. It was very, very hard. Yes. And almost moved around in such a way where I felt like there was something in there. Like it's almost independent of your body. Yes. Okay. And I went back to the surgeon and he also a little flummoxed thought that either the original pin that had like gone all the way down through my finger. Yeah. Maybe a piece had broken off and was in there and trying to get itself out. Or he couldn't remember. He couldn't remember if he had left a plate in there on purpose. So I had. This is something that should be like in your chart. Well, yeah. Right. But yes. And x-rays should. Right. So I went and had x-rays and he's like, I'm, you know,
