This is the 19th episode of Cake and Cookies. And I'll tell you, I don't necessarily have to get into it. But I've had over the past couple of days a swift kick in the automotive pants. And I'm not happy. It's a rough one. It's a bad one. And then, of course, your days might be numbered with the Lyme disease and everything. Oh, no. You said you didn't think I had Lyme disease. I don't think you do. Well, then why would you say something like that? Well, I mean, all of us, our days are conceivably numbered. Right. And you are worried about it. And what I was. I mean, I'm not like overtly worried about it, but it is a concern. But you are. Because immediately this week. Well, let's get into it. You had you. You texted me this week somewhat out of the blue. Now, when we text each other, it's not totally out of the blue because we text frequently. Right. So when I see something from you, it's never going to be like, but your text was had to use something from our NVCC first aid training this week. Let me just say that's not what I led with. I led with when do you want to record? Okay. Because you weren't sure if you're going to be alive then. Well, we got to get this one in quick. This might be a good one to do on Friday night. Can you talk faster? Please. We'll put the music in after. Speed it up. So, but you did say you had to use something from our medical training. And I guess if someone had, did I guess choking? No. I guessed something. Did you guess choking and something about pretzels? I can't remember. And I was like, what? I don't understand. Let me see. Hold on. I think I have it here. Okay. Because I assumed there was a tick on Presley. Oh, see, I didn't get that. Okay. Right, right, right. No, we front line them. We front line them really good. And we do like an all natural spray thing in the backyard. So for people that are not dog owners, front line is the only thing I can compare it to. Not Pop Tarts. No. But do you know the Pillsbury Toaster Strudels? Oh, I see where you're going with this. You are right. I'm pretty right about this. Dan, you know Pillsbury Toaster Strudels, right? And the magic of them is that the icing was not baked on in some sort of weird nuclear testing site. That's how they get the icing to stick onto a Pop Tart. On a toaster strudel, which are found in your grocery's freezer, they come with the icing in little packets. And the packets, you snip off the end and it's like a blister packet that comes to a point. And then you can squeeze the icing. In all sorts of crazy fun shapes. That's right. To fool and amaze your friends. But that is what front line is like. It's like a little bubble pack where you break off the top and you squirt the anti-tick juice between the dog's shoulders and down his back and then back up again normally, right? Because the goo, I guess, sort of trickles down. I don't really know how it works. I just know that there's a couple different kinds. There's front line and then there's like advantage plus and there's a few different kinds. Kirkland. Plus we, yeah. Kragmont makes one. Blueberry. I don't know. I'm just making names like that. We also got Judd and Presley. When our vet found out exactly where we were moving, they said, okay, we really need to do the Lyme vaccination. Okay. So they get like a shot. Okay. For the ticks and stuff. And people should know Lyme disease has nothing to do with citrus fruit. Nope. Nope. Or a delicious summertime beverage. Or pie. Mmm. Pie. But the Lyme disease is, can come from ticks. Yes. Deer ticks. Deer ticks. Are you writing a letter now? Excuse me. Dinosaurs. As we all know, we have a dinosaur problem. There is a whole bunch of dinosaurs running around their neighborhood. Running around our neighborhood. True or false. All Lyme disease come from ticks, but not all ticks give Lyme disease. All Lyme disease. True? I guess that's true. I don't know. I mean, I'm. Why would you ask me a true or false question that you don't even know the answer to? I was just wondering if there's. You are such an asshat. You have been like this all day. I don't know. I. I. Might. Die. I could. I could. I might. Something terrible could happen to me. And you're like, true or false? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Okay. And then I answer and you're like, well, I don't know. I thought you would. I don't know. I assume maybe you did some Googling. Can you. Is Lyme disease. Is it contagious? What I have. From person to person. Yes. No. But what I have found. That was Edward R. Murrow's old show. Person to person. Yes. Of course. That I know. What I have found is that one in any like medical case type situation. Yes. Quincy. Don't Google too much. No. No. We discussed this last week with the WebMD. Yes. Ultimately, everything is going to be cancer. Correct. You're never more than three clicks away. Amputation. From cancer or amputation. So, but what I'm saying is, did you do any Googling? Yes. Is the disease only from ticks? I think so. Okay. I think it's, and I think it's specifically deer ticks. This makes sense. But the thing is, is the tick, you feel you did not get it from your dogs. I don't think I got it from the dogs. I think I got it from walking the dogs. Walk us through your tick scenario. All right. So, this was, this was yesterday morning. And by the way, we heard, I'm sorry to jump in. Just one quick interjection and put this to bed. We got the dozens of complaints about my, my zit story last week. Might have been too graphic. I don't know. It was the elephant in the room. I felt a little. Better. Not cured, but better. I've, it's, give me something. It might feel better. It feels better to the touch. Okay. I've been sleeping with a bandaid on it. Oh. That's a good look, by the way. Do you think that is compromising the seal of your CPAP? Due to the fact that I actually snored last night with my machine? Yes, I do. The bandaid is A, doing what it's put on earth to do, which is, of course, entertain. No, the bandaid is put on earth to help me heal. But here's where it's bad. It makes me look even worse with the CPAP machine on, if such a thing is possible. Why are you concerned about how you look at night? I'm concerned about the way I look. Always. Okay. I'm, okay. Really, really, we'll get right back to the tick thing. But you have to know. I'm in.
